SSHED scores an impressive 9 out of ten!

In its latest customer survey, the SSHED has scored an impressive 9 out of 10 for overall satisfaction.
Even more rewarding was that 100% of the businesses surveyed said that the SSHED represented good value for money.
These are the latest results from the SSHED's customer survey which is conducted every two years to obtain feedback, suggestions and to gauge the effectiveness of the program.
The SSHED is council's business accelerator located at Loftus. One hundred businesses have now taken part in the SSHED program with 450 jobs being created.
'We encourage all the businesses we work with to actively seek out customer feedback because that's how you can improve your product and service offerings. So, we're practicing what we preach by doing our own customer survey,' explained Craig Doyle, SSHED Manager.
In the survey, business owners said what they liked best about the SSHED was the professional environment and IT services, along with the business mentoring and marketing support.
'There's nothing like direct customer feedback and we've learned so much from each survey we've done and gone on to improve our mentoring program, services and facilities,' he said.
Consistent with previous surveys, the majority of businesses that move into the SSHED come from home offices. The catalyst for change is that these business owners want to grow and take on employees. The SSHED provides an ideal stepping stone by helping businesses avoid large upfront capital and establishment costs.
'I realise no one is perfect, but we'll be working hard to get 10 out 10 next time round,' added Craig.
Sutherland Shire Mayor, Councillor Phil Blight, was he was pleased with the customer feedback and encouraged those with a new business to look at the services the SSHED can provide.
'Many fledgling businesses have grown during their time at the SSHED and these results speak for themselves about the help they are getting there,' Clr Blight said.
