Connecting local employers with young workers
Posted on Wednesday, January 2010

Host employers include ANSTO, Scully and Associates, Enware and Sydney Organic Gardens. According to Janet Knight, Manager of The Shire Group Training, it is the ideal time for local businesses to recruit a new apprentice with the federal government offering cash bonuses through the Apprentice Kickstart program.

There are two cash payments totalling $3,350 for employers hiring apprentices in key traditional trades such as electrical, metal machining and carpentry. For more information on employer incentives or to contact The Shire Group Training phone 9545 7499.
