    Are you a part of IT yet?

    There are more than 200 IT businesses in the Shire. We are currently exploring the idea of establishing an ICT Cluster in the Sutherland Shire area. The first networking breakfast was held on Tuesday, 23rd Nov. 2004. There was overwhelming consensus that we should pursue the idea of an ICT Cluster in the Shire.     Free Information Evening -

    The SSHED Business Accelerator is holding a free information evening for small businesses on Wednesday, 3rd November, 2004 at 6.30pm. A special presentation will be made by John Petty, a local resident who is the National Vice President of CPA Australia and Australia’s representative on the world accounting body, the International Federation of Accountants Financial Management Committee.

    First two businesses outgrow the SSHED

    Two small Sydney businesses have expanded so rapidly they have outgrown leading business accelerator, the SSHED, within 12 months and have had to move out to larger commercial premises

    Women moving into the SSHED

    When theSSHED opened last November, there were seven founding tenants – businesses all run by men. Six new businesses have moved into the SSHED since the New Year and four of these new businesses are operated by women.
