Shire Group Training
Shire Group Training set up in the Sutherland Shire in early 2007 and connects would-be apprentices and trainees with host employers. Already the company has placed trainees and apprentices with a variety of local employers such as Symbio Wildlife Gardens, Sutherland Shire Council, Chambers Restaurant, ANSTO and Drakes Oyster Hatchery in Woolooware Bay.
Shire Group Training is part of the Hunter Valley Training Company (HVTC), a "not-for-profit" company and one of this country's leading group training companies. Founded in 1981, today HVTC is the largest employer of apprentices and trainees in NSW.
